MILLWORK PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – (Knoxville, TN)

Position Description:
Supervisor position that manages daily production operations. Oversees and manages the daily duties of each shop area, ensuring an efficient flow of production and delivery to our customers. Responsible for 25-30 employees, enforcing company policies and attendance rules. Supervisor will oversee door production lines and will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality of the products leaving the shop, maintenance of the equipment, and making certain that we are adhering to safety policies as well as all government safety rules/requirements. While working in conjunction with the Warehouse and Shipping Supervisors to be certain we are producing in an order that works with shipping, this position will report immediately to the Assistant Manager then the General Manager.
Requirements/Experience
- Experience in leading people is a must
- Door assembly experience preferred
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Conscientious of quality
- Able to communicate a plan to various groups
- Able to deal with complications in a professional manner
- Able to work with other departments to move effectively toward an overall, branch goal
- Capable of formulating a plan to improve from the smallest of tasks to the full production area
